Pop Up Weed Wrangles for Pate Hollow and Hayes Trails
There was much more Japanese Stiltgrass and Perilla Mint on the Pate Hollow Trail due to the June 2024 straight line wind. That damage has allowed these invasive plants to spread! So, we've scheduled two more weed wrangles to finish pulling the Japanese stiltgrass and Perilla mint on Pate and Hayes. Here are the dates: Sunday - 8/24 at Pate Hollow. The weather outlook is predicting high in the low 80s. So, it should be comfortable. Be prepared to hike in an hour to both sites, wrangle for a couple of hours and then hike out. |
